The selection includes mostly everyday design products that are made without producing new materials and minimizing the usage of environmental resources. In the making of these products, we have added a lot of good feeling and we hope it can be spread to your dearest. And the best part: these gifts come with a story!
BASIS OF A MODULAR WARDROBE
The Kulma tunic dress and Pier turtleneck shirts form the basis for the ultimate modular wardrobe. Timeless design with relaxed fit makes the choosing of the size as easy as it gets. Combining these two designs you can offer endless amount of inspiration that is not bound to seasons.
The Kulma tunic dress is made from recycled rental textiles that have originally been used as bed linen in hotels and healthcare in southern Finland. The discarded rental textiles have been dyed in Kyröskoski, Finland and then crafted into high quality dresses in Loksa, Estonia.
The soft viscose knit of the turtleneck shirt is surplus textile sourced from Nokia, Finland. The shirts are made in Nokia.
ORGANIC MERINO WOOL ESSENTIALS
Line beanies are the best accessory for the winter looks. They are made from organic merino wool, that is delicate enough even for the most sensitive skin. The beanie doesn’t itch and it is warm and soft. It has all the features for thoughtful gift: timeless design, made from high end materials. It is sure to offer a lot of joy for years to come!
The hefty Port wool scarf brings in personality with knit print that is inspired by the visuality of contemporary cargo ports. Like the beanies, also the Port scarfs holds the high standards of best quality and luxurious feel.
All the organic wool knits are made in Tuusula, Finland. They can be washed in the washing machine.
LOVING GREETINGS TO THE KITCHEN
For the 2018 winter holiday season, we are introducing you a set of aprons that have been developed together with restaurant and hotel industry professionals. These minimal and functional design pieces are highly appreciated by the ones that love to express their creativity and talent in the kitchen.
The aprons come in two different lengths. The straps are detachable and allow alterations also in the way the apron is dressed. Made from durable and easy to maintain recycled textiles. 
OFF TO SOMEWHERE WARM
Surprise your friends with Purje capri pants and Trace shirts! They are the perfect travel companions for those friends of yours heading to the warm to escape the long Northern winter. With big pockets, soft viscose knit and sculptural design, the Purje capri pants answer to the demands for easy, stylish and relaxed travelling.
As a unisex option for a travelling friend, we added TAUKO cap into our selection of gift ideas. Cool and easy fit, always needed, never out of style.
Purje capri pants and Trace shirt are made from surplus textiles. The crafting, as well as the textiles, were made in Nokia, Finland. The Cap is made from recycled hotel and healthcare bedlinen and it was crafted in Tallinn, Estonia.

Is there someone around you, who is interested in design? Loves to experience and learn new skills? The TAUKO dress design workshop is one of the kind, special and unforgettable gift for your loved one. By offering the change to take part in the workshop, the receiver of your gift, will get to design her own TAUKO dress. The design and production process will be introduced to the workshop participants by the head designer of TAUKO. The design will be crafted by our skilful sewing team in Estonia and the dress will be delivered home to her.
